Who is Jesus?
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He was born from a virgin, Mary. He lived a perfect life on earth, never sinned, and told everyone the truth about His Father, God. He performed miracles and lived a holy life on earth. He died on the cross to pay for everyone's sin. Three days after His death, He was risen from the dead. And He is not done yet, He has a wonderful gift for you... He loves you.That is why He died on the cross, for you. He paid for ALL of our wrongs, or sin. Every mistake you have ever made, He will forgive you. For if you just commit your life to Him, He has a wonderful plan for your life. He loves you so much!
All you've got to do to receive this gift, salvation, of knowing God is say a simple prayer. Prayer means talking to God. To understand God, first we must realize that we have sinned. We have messed up. All humans have. We are not perfect. "All have sinned and fell short of God's glory." (Rom. 3:23) This sin leads to death and an eternal life in Hell.
To save yourself from that you must also believe that God died for your sin and rose again. You must let Him into your life as your Lord and Savior. "Confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord and you shall be saved." (Rom. 9:10)
Repent of your sins and start your new life with Him! He will give you more than just heaven. He wants to love you and support you with everything.
So if you accept Jesus into your life, start going to a church and learn more about God, knowing Jesus Christ is a relationship, not just a religion. Here is a simple prayer of salvation, that you can repeat if you want ot accept Jesus into your life:
"Dear Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I am sorry for my sin. Please forgive me. Thank you for dying on the cross for my sin. Thanks for knowing and loving me. I want you to come make a home in my heart. I love you. Amen."
