Operation Christmas Child: Year Round

January:
toothbrush, toothpaste

February:

Washcloths, soap, (in zippered bags)

March:

Flashlights with extra batteries

April:

Small toys: (jump ropes, marbles, cards, slinkys, yo-yos, etc)

May:

Small stuffed animals, beanie babies, small dolls

June:

Hair items (combs, brushes, barrettes, hair bows, hair ties, ribbons)

July:
School box items: school supplies (pens, pencils, small notebooks, crayons, glue sticks, etc)

August:
deodorant, lip balm, wet-ones, handi-wipes

September:

Small hand towels, t-shirts, socks, gloves, hats, under shorts, mini-outfits

October:
hard candy, lollipops, bubble chewing gum, individually wrapped candy. Start bringing in old shoe boxes.

November:

Bracelets, rings, sun glasses, etc (no liquids, or glass) Catch up on any missing (or low) items)

November : Shoe Box Night! This is when we bring all of the collected items, old shoe boxes, and our financial donations (typically a suggested donation is about $5 for each). At this event, all of the items are spread out on tables, and then everyone takes turns individually and personally puts together boxes for underprivileged children overseas. We also fellowship and pray over the boxes.
